  Great experience with John's services from the start - he was prompt to respond to my initial enquiry and subsequent messages. Clear, courteous and professional. We arranged a site visit for the following week. John assessed the crack, and also gave some advice and reassurance about a couple of other building matters we had concerns about. He then got in touch in the new year with his availability and managed to fit us in around other bigger jobs he had on, much appreciated! Very happy with the repointing work itself - John turned up promptly on the agreed date and just cracked on! Looks much better!

• Assess the water damage to kitchen floor and stop any sources of leaking water

  He arrived on time, pleasant manner and very knowledgable and professional. Assessed the water damage under my sink with greatest respect for my kitchen, even though it was a dirty and difficult to reach area. Videoed the leak for my insurance company and then fixed the leak to stop it causing further damage. Removed the rotten wood and took it away with him. Laid some loose boards over my flooring to make it safe for over Christmas and while waiting to get response from house insurance company. Advised on the possible extent of water damage as a worse case scenario and probable cost …..

  John as usual has done an excellent job, consults on all decisions, is tidy and accurate, giving a superb final finish. He totally rebuilt the bay window wall and ceiling area, making sure all issues we had before were resolved. He is also friendly and trustworthy. I would recommend John to anyone
