• Fitting new kitchen

  We ordered a new kitchen from Wren and accepted their quote for fitting, but when their fitter arrived to check what was required he was going to double the fitting charge. He also wasn't local so we asked Jess Grimstone for a quote, which matched the original figure given by Wren. He did an excellent job in a short timescale and we are very happy with the result.

  Jess is a pleasure to have in the house. He is very courteous, friendly and professional. He arrived on time, completed the job in the timescale he said and cleaned up afterwards. His work is excellent and I couldn’t recommend him any higher. I will definitely use Jess for any further work we need.

  Jess was great from the minute we met him - He understood our vision and gave us suggestions. When work begun, he was always on time, very polite and did an excellent job with our built in storage unit. He regularly updated us on progress and he was very tidy, with cleaning up and taking everything with him after. I would highly recommend Jess to anyone needing a carpenter, I will happily use him again in the future for any further work on our property.

• To remove existing bannisters and to fit new bannisters

  Jess worked very hard and in a very professional manner from start to finish. He was always very polite, helpful and friendly and kept any mess to a minimum. The new bannisters have transformed the whole look of the stairs and landing area. We would highly recommend Jess for any carpentry work as we are so pleased with the end result, at a very reasonable cost.

  We recently had our internal doors fitted for us. We received a very reasonable quote and was even given useful information beforehand about what we needed to buy e.G latches sizes etc. The work was done very quickly and efficient and looks great. He was very polite and hardworking and we’re very happy with the result.
