  I spoke to over 20 builders before I settled on Luke at LKS Contacts. Unlike the others he was enthusiastic and his comms were excellent. All of the building stages were explained in detail and carried out accurately in a professional manner. I made some tweaks to the specification and Luke accommodated these. The tweaks were the only change in the quoted price so we’ll done Luke. Fortunately/unfortunately most of the building work was out of the country. My neighbours all said how quick the stages were and how neat, tidy and quiet the work was. Well done Luke, thank you.

  Luke did a great job and most importantly, when he said he was going to do something, he did. He always called when he said he would, turned up as arranged and was reliable. He always left the place clean and tidy and stuck to his quote. Really good Comms and a genuinely nice guy.

  Luke provide us with the vision of completion of the work that in particular appealed to my wife. Luke quoted for the job which wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive. The work began on time and finished within the time scale specified. Luke explained what he was going to do and how the task in hand was to be carried out during each phase of the renovation. He remained good humoured and resolute throughout and above was honest about any issues that may crop up. He organised the other trades well and ensured that they were on time and carried out the work to a high standard.

• Repairing the roof structure

  Luke at LKS was really enthusiastic and professional, and did a great job in repairing the roof and roof structure of my property. He provided some excellent advise in how to complete some of the repairs, which were fully supported by the structural engineer. I would definitely use LKS again
