• Building a block retaining wall in rear sloping garden

  Kevin is a very knowledgeable and experienced builder who provided a professional assessment of what was needed to construct a new retaining wall and concrete foundations. The rear garden was only accessible by ladder therefore requiring difficult manual handling of all materials. The new wall was rendered and topped with coping tiles. We are very pleased with the result. Kevin and his team were friendly and reliable and cleaned up after finishing each day. I hope to employ Lowey Building Limited again in the near future.

• Single storey rear extension

  This is the second time we have used this company. Kevin and his team were very efficient and the work was completed to an excellent standard. We have an older house and site access difficulties that the team successfully overcame. Project management was good and when we encountered problems with the original building, the team took time to discuss options with us so that we could make informed decisions. The extension is finished to a high standard and we are very happy with the results. We have already asked them to do some further work for us.

  Kevin and his team were very conscientious in their work. First class workmanship from all involved. Particular thanks to Sean for his leadership in the absence of Kevin, to Mark for his carpentry works, and to Sean's son Sam for his eagerness to listen and learn the trade. All involved were very polite to the family and respectful to us and the neighbours for access to our properties.

  Very pleased with the work carried out. The quality of the work was excellent and completed within the estimated price. The team were good to work with and always tidy and courteous. We were kept informed of what was happening (and would happen next) throughout the build and always consulted when decisions were needed.
