  Punctual, polite and completed works how we wanted it done, nothing was too much trouble we had a change of plans halfway through and nick sorted everything so works would still finish on time

  Remove concrete lintel for door

  Nick did great job of removing a 9 inch thick concrete lintel and replacing it so a taller door could be fitted. It took him all day to break it out! I’m looking forward to Nick coming back to do more work at the property.

  Wall removal between toilet and bathroom

  Nick is a reliable and friendly builder who came to my house to look at the job when we agreed and he kept to his word in terms of the price for the job as well as arrival times etc. He also arranged for a plasterer, who was also reliable and efficiently completed the work to a good standard. I am happy that the work was completed within the given timeframe and I appreciated how Nick discussed the stages of the work with me.

  Knocking down 13 square metre wall.

  We hired Markham Building contractors who are local to us and Nick came. He is a really nice guy and it took him no time at all to take down a garden wall 13 square metres in size by hand and take away the rubble. We also wanted to keep a row or two of bricks to make a shorter wall with some more bricks on top to finish it off. This was no trouble for him he went twice to get the items needed to the builders merchants and put the finishing pieces to the wall. The wall now looks really good and much better than it did before. Nick is a really hard working and friendly guy we would use again.

  Beach hut cladding

  Despite challenging weather conditions and very restricted access to the beach hut, Nick completed the work to a good standard and the agreed timescale. This included cladding, constructing new front doors and replacing the roof. He kept in contact throughout and sent photos to update me on progress. Overall I am very happy with the result and would use this company in the future.
