Roof repair - replacement of felt and batten
Matt identified the cause of a leak and completed the work needed to fix it. Matt has carried out the work to a high standard and has successfully stopped the leak, whil carrying out the work Matt identified further issues with the roof and I have happily agreed for him to complete further work for me.
Repair to roof after storm damage
Mathew came to view my problem, sourced additional contractors for scaffolding, and completed the repair, couldn’t recommend enough….
Replacing of lead flashings in chimney
After being let down by another roofer and being quoted over the odds for the same work by a different company we are glad we went with Matt. From the minute he arrived to quote up, he was courteous, knowledgeable, honest and patient whilst we got scaffolding arranged. Him and his lead man Rob were both efficient, polite and thorough and Mstt even gave our guttering a clean afterwards which we didn't even ask and didn't quote us for. Me and my partner were so impressed that we have already asked him to quote us for some work on our verges before he finished the original job!
Replaced one slipped slate and several old concrete slates. Also check and remortar two valleys.
After my initial contact with Matt his estimate was sent through promptly.. He kept me informed throughout the entire job organised the scaffold and arrived on time. He was very polite, tidy and I was extremely pleased with the quality of his work. Unfortunately the weather changed a couple of hours after the mortaring was finished which washed out some of it. Matt returned as soon as the weather permitted and cheerfully repaired the damage and cleaned the gutters.
Replace all roof felt with breathable membrane. Replace roof battens. Renew ridges. Replace tiles
Excellent job. Good communication throughout. Reliable and good value for money. Would recommend.
