• Extension over garage

  This is the second have used Mike and his team for an extension. Mike and Steve are respectful, kind, creative and tidy. Mike takes the time to listen to what you’d like to achieve and on a number of occasions worked with me to improve the design of the extension bringing to life what I had envisioned. Very thoughtful and tidy. Respectful of the kids and generally a pleasure to have around and always available to ask questions. Mike even helped me collect tiles for the shower room. Steve was also very supportive, open to questions and helped to resolve some issues. Would definitely recommend.

  Mike has done two jobs for me at my present property. The work has been completed to a high standard both cosmetically and structurally. Both gentlemen are trust worthy and respectful. Being a single woman I felt a little out of my depth but I needn’t have worried as the job was in safe hands, I was talked through the work process which enabled me to feel in control and listened to. I am thrilled with the work carried out which was no easy job. Mike also did other smaller jobs to help me out and gave tips to enable me to DIY effectively. Prices were very reasonable.

  Mike provided advice and guidance on a property I was looking to buy a couple of months ago. He took time out on a Saturday at no cost to do this and I really appreciated his straight talking. I would be more than happy for him and his team to complete any work in the future. Thanks!

• Single story extension

  We hired Mike Matthews and his team to complete a single storey extension after our previous builder never returned to site after leaving our steel work not installed, poor workmanship and a host of bad practices. Mike not only took on a very challenging job, but did so with a practical, problem-solving attitude. The extension was finished on time and on budget with a high spec. Communication was excellent and Mike was able to provide other reliable trades (plasterer, concrete work etc) when needed. Couldn’t recommend Mike enough for helping us complete this job!

• Create a new in and out driveway

  Mike and Steve have done a fantastic job of digging out half of our steep garden to create an in/out driveway.This was a labour intensive task and they worked tirelessly .They were punctual and extremely tidy and always kept us informed of what was happening. We are very pleased with what they have done and would not hesitate in using them again.

  Brilliant work carried out on extension, neat and tidy worker. Tight squeeze to get the digger down the side of house but no problem for Mr Matthews. Even tiled the shower room and floor which looks amazing. Would l have him again---yes l would.
