  Mark and his team contacted us with a quick response to a posting on checkatrade. Efficient, and work carried out with minimal fuss at a great price. Will probably go back next year when we replace the whole roof.

  I called out Mark (the M. Stevens based in Devon) for what I thought was a small job. This initial job turned out to be quite a bit larger, once roof tiles had been removed. Whilst completing the first job, Mark noticed that the ridge tiles on both my main house and garage roofs weren't secure. He recommended a modern fixing method I was happy for him to carry out. This was done, within the day, and to my complete satisfaction.

• Solving serious downpipe blockage

  Mark is a star. He responded quickly to our call, coming the same day, to unblock gutters and drains that were causing a problem to our house. I was impressed that he turned up in the rain to do the work and dealt with the problem efficiently and professionally - removing the downpipes and clearing a serious blockage. No fuss and perfect results. I couldn't recommend him more highly.
