I contacted Safeguard Contractors who came round to quote for work to fix a leak in my roof at £460 - they asked for 50% upfront payment, and I trusted them, so I paid it. They came round to start the work on 11th Dec (after postponing twice at short notice) but 10 mins after arriving they told me the agreed work could not go ahead due to unforeseen conditions - they left quickly after. They did not re-quote me for new work and refused to return my upfront payment or issue me a receipt. They took advantage of me and kept £230 of my money just before Christmas but never started any work.

Harvey and his team have been brilliant. Harvey totally appreciated the difficulty we faced in the property being empty and with me not living in the area. I had faith in him from the first message. He kept me updated from the start to the end. I cannot rate Harvey and his team high enough. The scaffolding went up and the new roof completed in a timely manner, despite it being the Christmas period.

They were able to come and do the inspection very quickly. They then produced the report swiftly. They provided a professional and efficient solution to our problem of getting this report.

Communication was excellent, was always kept in touch & the progress was very smooth & efficient. I had the report within a few hours of it being carried out.

The quality of their craftsmanship is outstanding — my new roof looks amazing and gives me real peace of mind knowing it was done right.
