  The company did a very professional job. They came to assess the work to be done, listened to our requirements and gave good suggestions. They arrived to do the job when arranged. If we had any questions, James and Nathan were polite and did what we asked of them. They showed that they had lots of experience and did a very good standard of work. We were very pleased with the finished driveway and re-modelled front pathway. We recommend SRC Contractors.

• Relay about 6 sq meters of block paving that has sunk.

  James answered the Checkatrade advert within a few days of posting. Our block paving had sunk by about 3 cm and was trapping water after rain or when cleaning the cars. Obviously if left, this could damage the drive. James knew exactly what the problem was and described how he would fix it. The work was carried out about a week later. James and Nathan arrived about 9:15 and had the bricks up by 10:00. After preparing the ground with a Wacker plate, etc. relayed the bricks and filled the gaps with dry kiln sand before again using the Wacker plate. As far as I can tell they did a great job!

• Driveway and Patio

  After gathering numerous quotations and meeting a number of different contractors, we chose SRContrators to install our gravel driveway last summer. James is really helpful and along with his team did a great job which we have been really happy with. So much so, they've just installed a new patio for us too. Great communication and service all round and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. If we ever have any future projects, they'll be my first port of call.

• Just not completely happy with my drive unfortunately.

  Block paving was done for my drive. I understand it's not the easiest task as my drive is pretty slanted but there is a significant 'hump' which I was absolutely not expecting and I wasn't informed that it would be there ahead of the work being carried out. James is a nice guy but I wasn't impressed with the work his lads did, he had to go back and re-do some of the edging which was at completely inconsistent heights. I felt "left in the dark" about some aspects of the job, it wasn't until the job started that I was told the type of block paving I wanted was £1500 extra.
