• Roof Repair - gully, felt, batons and ridge tiles

  Tom was brilliant, so helpful and polite. Came out within a few hours to assess my leaking roof and diagnosed the problem immediately (an old gully wasn’t cemented under the tiles and the recent downpour meant that rain could get under the tiles and into holes in old felt) We agreed a price (v reasonable I thought) and the Scaffolding was up within 48 hours and the work finished in 3 days. Lots of “before” photos to show me that the diagnosis was spot on and plenty of “during” and “after” photos showing new felt, batons, ridge tiles and a beautifully cemented gully. 100% recommended.

• Re-Roof rear of house

  Tom and his team re-roofed the rear roof of a conservation area house in 1day . Scaffolding erected and team removed the tiles. Conserved the reusable tiles and installed newer reclaimed tiles. Consulted on the process all the way through. Scaffolding will be taken down after a final inspection the next day. Very happy with the turnaround and the job completed to a standard matching the price.

• Repointing a gable end

  Access was difficult for this job so scaffolding was needed for safe working. Tom from United Roofing organised the scaffolding which was well erected and carried out the repointing with a colleague. The work was done well using good materials and had a good finish. Scaffolding was removed very quickly and the site was then cleared and cleaned. Timescales were kept to and all workers involved were efficient, pleasant and polite.

• Repair leak on flat roof

  Tom promptly arranged a visit for a quote and was able to do the work within a week. New boards and rubber was laid. Unfortunately we still have an ongoing small leak through the roof for which Tom has come back to have a look at and apply additional sealant. Hopefully that will help.
