• New roof and dormer

  They meant to give us a new roof and front dormer in three weeks. Instead, they dragged the job for five months before they decided to leave it unfinished. Currently half of our roof is covered with tarpaulin as there are no tiles on that part, including the badly and partially built new dormer which has to come down according to a carpenter. We definitely and absolutely do not recommend them, in my opinion what they did to us is criminal.

• Flat roof replacement

  The flat roof of my extension had started to leaks. I contacted Chris following a friend's recommendation. He visited the property promptly and explained the reason for the leaking. A clear and detailed cost quotation was sent to me the following day. Following acceptance of the price quoted, Chris and his team arrived at the agreed time and replaced the roof. The work was neat and clean. All rubbish was removed and the area was left tidy. No extra payment was requested. Vickers Roofing, Chris in particular, are excellent roofers. I will not hesitate in recommending them. Truly excellent !

• Leaking roof

  When our roof began to leak, Chris came over and diagnosed the issues, gave us good quotations to sort out the problems and then, with excellent communication, came out to sort it all out for us. He and his team were absolutely lovely, a pleasure to have around and worked really hard and really tidily to sort things out for us. We are very pleased and Chris will be our first port of call should we need to replace our poor old roof in the years to come!

• Quote for roofing work

  I contacted Chris because we had been given a quote by another company for roofing work they said needed doing, Chris came out, went up on the roof, replaced the tiles (which he said looked like they had been deliberately moved), said no work was required, and wouldn't take a penny for his time. There are definitely cowboys out there but Chris is most certainly not one. Very honest and if we ever need a roofer we'll certainly use him.

  Chris was asked to attend to give a quote as we'd been quoted a lot by another company that said work was required. Chris looked at the roof and said no work was required, he replaced the tiles, which he said looked like they had been deliberately removed, and refused to take any payment for his time. There are definitely cowboys out there but Chris is most certainly not one. Very honest and we'll definitely use him again if we need a roofer.
