  We won’t use anyone else! Dean initially provided a quote for Kitchen install which expanded to lounge/entry/understairs refresh.We were impressed by his eye for detail and suggestions for bringing our vision to life and instantly felt at ease.Dean was always available to answer questions (we had A LOT). Dean managed the whole project, was polite, punctual, tidy, and always ensured we knew what to expect from that day. Dean had a solution to every 'problem' encountered with our home - his knowledge really shows. His workmanship is exceptional and we are so pleased with our new downstairs.

  From the quote to the finished job absolutely 1st class. Most polite and professional tradesman I’ve come across. What was lovely the job is completely bespoke. Dean will do anything you require. No job too big. He cleaned up every day leaving the work place spotless. Punctual and letting you know each procedure. Could not recommend him higher enough. First class job will certainly look to use him again.

  Dean's skill, experience, and work ethic is second to none. He went out of his way to make sure every aspect of his work was as good as possible. He even fixed issues he noticed while he worked at no extra cost. The custom-made cupboards fit perfectly into two alcoves with different dimensions, and Dean ensured we were happy with every aspect of the design. He coordinated several other contractors to ensure the install went as smoothly as possible, and was very careful to keep dust and noise to a minimum. For a carpenter providing excellent quality at competitive prices, look no further.

  Thought it was a straightforward job but being a victorian property the walls and staircase angles disagreed. Completed to a fantastic standard. Very happy with a very sturdy addition to to original staircase that looks like it's always been there.

  Amazing workmanship. Dean and Dave were recommended to us and exceeded our expectations. Not only very knowledgeable and plenty of experience and ideas to ease the job along, but they were lovely friendly guys and cleaned up after everydays work. We would highly recommend 1st carpentry and call them back for any future projects.

  I'm a bit late on getting this review in, which is a crime as 1st Carpentry did fantastic work. We had a fairly large built in unit installed on one wall of our living room and we both love it. Everyone who visits also loves it and we make recommendations for 1st Carpentry to anyone who will listen. It was obvious that Dean took a lot of pride in his work and that really shows in the end result.
