    From contacting me when I first posted the job to completing the work I was given a top class service. Nikki booked Alan in and it was for a halls stairs landing that had been neglected with some wood damage due to a leak. Now it looks amazing like a new house. Alan was very friendly with advise, tidy and a professional job done. Can’t thank them both enough and has restored my faith in tradesman. Would recommend and use again

    Alan was able to respond to my request for a quick turn round job to redecorate my nephews apartment. He visited site and gave me a verbal quotation, followed up in writing that day and confirmed he could meet our timescales. On site he was professional and knowledgeable and communicated well. The standard of work was very good and the site was left clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alan if you need a decorator.

    Allan has decorated the whole of our house over the last couple of years. Interior walls, ceilings and woodwork, exterior windows and doors. The quality of his work is excellent, he turns up when expected, works full days, is tidy and courteous and his invoices are consistent with quotes. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending him.

Hi, My name is Alan and I have been a Professional Decorator for over 25 years.

I have worked on various projects, both large and small from private residences to commercial projects including office refurbishments and shop fitting.


I am proficient in many home improvement aspects and enjoy seeing jobs finished on time and to a good standard.

I have a good network of professionals whom I have worked with for many years for all aspects of the building trade and larger jobs.

I should advise that I no longer do wall papering but do have a network of individuals to whom I can sub contract such works or if it is a wallpapering only job, I can make recommendations of other decorators on Checkatrade.


All exterior works are usually done between May and October and I am afraid to say I will not consider exterior works outside of these months
