    Mikey is very skilled. He opened the front door that was jammed in the locked position in minutes with no damage. He then took the lock and showed me where the metal inside had fractured and a piece of the metal had lodged in the mechanism. Mikey did not have the part but fitted another lock so we could use the door whilst he ordered the correct lock. Mikey came back on a day and a time that suited us to fit the new lock. Mikey is very skilled and if there was a twenty out of ten for courtesy he would have got that. Highly recommended

    I stupidly closed our front door, leaving the key in the lock in the inside! I tried (unsuccessfully) myself to get in and then rang Mikey. He was fairly local at the time and I was back in my house within 30 minutes of my call.

My name is Mikey, I trade as A Short Locksmith as the Founder of the company (Mick) is only 5ft 2in tall.

I’ve worked as a sole trader in Maidstone for over 10 years.

Mick built up the locksmith company with his wife and have now taken a step back. I have now taken charge of the company as planned.
