  • Replace seal on AEG washer dryer

    Agreed £95 + parts to fit new seal on an integrated AEG washing machine at a rental property. Tony visited, didn’t fit the seal because he said too much was wrong ‘the door gasket is mouldy. The soap dispenser unit is mouldy. The drum is mouldy. The drive poly is worn and the drum bearings are on the way out all in all. It's very worn. Charged £70.76 he doesn’t supply and fit new. Frustrated as this is a lot of money to turn up and look.

    This was the second time we've used AAJ and we've had nothing but great service. The first time was a few years ago where Tony was completely up front about there being no point in trying to repair the washing machine we had at the time. This time, Tony had our washing machine repaired within 30 minutes. Even better, he then fixed our dishwasher as well in the same visit. Both appliances sorted within an hour. Overall I would say they're prompt, reliable, efficient, polite and friendly. I highly recommend using AAJ for any appliances they cover.

    We’ve asked Tony to repair our washing machine a couple of times now and both times we found him to be on time, efficient and reliable. He’s in and out like a virtual washing machine magician! Job done.

    I called AAj at 8:49am, they were friendly, communicated clearly, told me their charges, which were reasonable, said they would come out ASAP, between 10 and 2. They arrived about 11:30, let me go straight back to the meeting I was in, I checked in at 12 and they had diagnosed the problem, gave me options, recommended one, I settled up with a card reader and they were on their way, no fuss, no mess, charming from start to finish, didn't even charge me the agreed first hour charge because it was only a portion. Excellent.
