Apart from the extension and patio, works included complete refurbishment to first floor bathroom, new flooring throughout the property, alteration and improvement to existing central heating system. Redecoration to 2nd ground floor bedroom, hall, stairs and stairwell.

10Verified ReviewAdam and his team carried out all the required work to a high standard. At all times they have been considerate and courteous to all of us. Nothing seemed too much trouble. While on site they all worked hard to ensure we were happy with a particular outcome, only taking minimal time out for breaks. We have further work programmed to alter the first floor bathroom having previously carried out work to provide level access shower to ground floor bathroom.

Felt so confident with him as a Builder went away on holiday while all the work was being done. Came home to find wonderful new designer bathroom and my home immaculately clean.

10Verified ReviewAdam and the team were punctual for each day they were here, working really hard throughout the day, concentrating on the job in hand and only stopping for a short break. Their attitude was friendly yet professional and it became obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing. We were particularly impressed that Adam called in each day to make sure that things were going well. The finished quality of work was excellent. We would have no hesitation in using them again and would recommend them to others.

My name is Adam Steele and I come from a long line of builders.
My grandfather started the company Steele and Wakefield and was instrumental in building many hundreds of properties along the whole of the south coast but notably in Lancing, his home village.
My father, along with his siblings, took over the business and expanded it through the latter half of the 20th Century.
I am one of 4 brothers who all have building in their blood and who all trade in the local area today.
My company is made up of family members and long term associates who all trust and work together in a comfortable and professional way.
My team has over 100 years of experience in various skills within the construction industry.
My turn over of staff is very low and this makes for the sort of solid relationship that can only flourish when people who have worked together for so many years trust each other implicitly.
I believe this is important for my team working on a site and it is important for my customer who knows they have honest, reliable and trustworthy professionals in or around their home.
We have work featured in 'Real Homes' and 'Beautiful Kitchens' magazines.
I use the same contractors for electrical and plumbing work and they also feel very much part of the Adam Steele 'family' and who are also fully insured and qualified.
I offer free estimates and advice and work closely with Local Authority in respect of planning and completion issues.
Our company aim is 'To provide high quality construction and finish'. We have a flexible approach to changing requirements and aim to achieve all work undertaken on time.
All our tradesmen are qualified, and are very friendly. We supervise each project in a hands on way, and are in daily contact.
We work with closely with building control, are members of the Federation of Master Builders, Checka Trade and Trust Mark - Government endorsed standards.
We are fully insured.
We are based in Ferring, West Sussex but work all across West Sussex.
