  John Kilkenny is very polite and considerate, and extremely thorough. This is the second time he has cleaned carpets for me and once again I was very pleased with the result. Some stains of dubious origin were of concern but John tested them and selected the correct solvent, and all the difficult stains were removed. All the carpets were left looking clean, refreshed and almost like new.

  John was recommended to me by a neighbour who has used his service on many occasions and always been highly satisfied. I have to endorse her recommendation as John did a very professional job on 2 very challenging carpets. He managed to remove some marks of unknown origin from the hall carpet and restored the badly stained living room one to a much more respectable appearance. He was friendly, courteous, quick and efficient. I would definitely use him again without hesitation.

  John was very efficient coming round first to inspect the carpets and estimate. His price was reasonable and he was punctual when he attended. John carries out all the work himself and is very thorough and managed to get out some deep stains from my grown up sons bedroom (take away spillages!). The carpets now look great and I would certainly recommend his service to anyone.

  We fully endorse John for any carpet cleaning service required. John was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely prompt with all communication. He clearly explained the cleaning process and managed expectations on the outcome as some areas were more worn. Overall we are very happy with the result, giving the carpets a few more years of life and will use John's service again in the future.

  John came across as very professional and to state the obvious is a real expert in his trade. Who would have known there's so much science behind it! The results were incredible - you can't compare with carpet cleaners you typically see doing end of tenancy cleans. Would strongly recommend.

• Cleaning a badly-stained living room carpet

  John, the owner of Advanced Clean, visited my house the morning after I first contacted him, assessed the job and undertook to return later the same day to carry it out. I had considered getting rid of the stained carpet but John did such a good job of removing the stains that I'm now happy to keep the carpet. John is friendly and considerate and is happy to explain his procedures. He is also very reasonably priced. I have no hesitation in recommending Advanced Clean to anyone.
