  We are so pleased! We found Angelos and his whole team very easy to work with. In particular: - Very high quality workmanship, including bespoke carpentry. - Competitive original quote, with all costs coming in line with budget and extras negotiated and priced very fairly. - Flexibility in developing solutions with clear cost implications. - The whole team were friendly, cheerful, honest and positive and it was always a pleasure to meet them on the site. - The site was always tidy and well organised. Overall an extremely positive experience and we would highly recommend Alex Builders.

• Full bathroom refit

  Alex Builders completed a full bathroom tear-out and refit for my flat in early 2024. Both Angelos and Alex were thorough in their work and remained communicative throughout the process, and most importantly the quality of the work completed was to a very high standard. For example, they fitted the shower so there was enough space for niches and (at extra effort) cut into the wall to make everything completely square despite the existing walls not being straight. The whole room looks more like a hotel bathroom than my old rotten-floored bathroom. I would highly recommend them

  We were really impressed and grateful for the hard work and attention to detail that Angelos, Alex and the team put into our bathroom fitting and the redecoration of our bedrooms. They worked overtime to get the job done to our specifications and within our timeframe, helping us with practical solutions if we had to alter plans. High quality work all round and will use again!

  From start to finish Alex was extremely reliable, trustworthy and collaborative. He is always willing to go the extra mile, to find the best possible solution and ensure you are happy. Alex and his team completed a whole house renovation for us, including a side return and dormer loft conversion, he kept us constantly updated and made us feel at ease throughout the process. Alex is a perfectionist and has a great eye for detail and we were so pleased with the finished works. His team are tidy and considerate and we would 100% recommend Alex Builders.

• Side return and full house renovation

  Alex Builders carried out an extension renovation of our property which included everything from structural work (foundations, ceiling/floor joists, underpinning) to electrics, plumbing, decorating etc. Their communication was fantastic throughout and the team have been a pleasure to get to know. The quality of the work is excellent and their pricing structure is very good value. We have already recommended them to several friends as they are the first people we would think of to carry out any additional works.

• L- Shaped Loft Conversion

  We have just had our loft conversion completed by Alex Builders and we are very happy with the end result. Angelos has been an amazing project manager. The main builder “Alex” and the rest of the team have been courteous and have delivered an outstanding project. Another important point to make is that all the stages of the project were completed by the in-house team (except for electrics/plumbing) and not sub-contracted as we thought it would be, this in my opinion made me feel that the project was under control. A huge thanks to the whole team, would definitely be recommending them!
