• Ground floor side extension

  Started as ground floor side extension but due to the instability of the existing brickwork has ended up as a rebuild of the back of the property which was totally unexpected. Andy put our minds at ease and talked us through what was going to happen stage by stage, communication has been very good throughout. Although we have a way to go before completion, we are very satisfied with the work so far.

• Building work for EV charger installation

  I needed groundwork’s done (lifting garden patio and installing underground cables) in preparation for an EV charger installation. Andy and his team did the work brilliantly. They had to provide photos and adhere to strict instructions from the EV company but that did not faze Andy at all - he liaised directly with the other engineers and was absolutely brilliant. He checked afterwards and throughout to make sure the works weee going as planned and even checked later to see if all was well with the EV charger - above and beyond, but shows how keen he is to make sure everything worked.

  We are using Andy having seen some of his previous work on a house and garden office. Andy has a good reputation locally and he tells you like it is which is how I like it. He and his team have been brilliant- friendly, professional and thorough. Richard, his carpenter and electrician is thorough and meticulous with his work and I completely trust his ideas/advice on the work as it’s being done. They have arrived promptly and clear up every day. The groundwork and clearance of existing structures was efficient and well done. Work almost complete and ongoing.

  Roofing - Always a nightmare! Usually an emergency and needed asap. Nobody wants rain coming through their bedroom ceiling at 4am - Particularly in October. Finding someone dependable with the right skill set, who will capably take ownership of your problem and allow you to stop panicking is near impossible to find. Relax! Andy and his team have rescued me from near disaster 3 times now. They don’t have posh vans or computerised quotations but they get the job done - tomorrow if needed - at a fair price. I’ve recommended them to friends - always a risky thing to do - and everyone has thanked me.

  Andy and the team fixed a chimney where the capping had failed. He came round at short notice to fix it and did a great job.
