• Hanging pictures and mirrors, checking fo a leak in plumbing under sink

  From start to finish Area Maintenance provided a professional and reliable service. I got a phone call saying David was on his way and he took great care to make sure my pictures and mirrors were placed exactly as I wanted them. He was skilled, courteous and very helpful. He even spotted and rehung a picture that I had put up clumsily. I would definitely use Area Maintenance again and I highly recommend.

• Fix and service boiler.

  Initial call fine explained everything issue not fixed,noisy boiler did not occur when at the property, also serviced boiler , little over 1 hour work. After noise still apparent and boiler started leaking water when on. Called to explain indicated it would be another call at there normal rate, explained that it did not leek prior to service they said nothing to do with service, told me was like taking your car into a garage for a service and then having a fault and blaming it on the service. Poor customer service I wish I had done a little more due diligence and not followed the reviews.

• Electrical Consumer Unit (fuse box) replacement

  Electrical Consumer unit (fuse box) needed urgent replacement as we had no power due to the old one failing and burning out. Spoke to Area Maintenance late morning, within 1 hour they were at the house...gave me an immediate quote, and then started the work early afternoon, with power back on late afternoon. During testing they identified a couple of faults on the lighting circuit. The next morning they returned and fixed the faults. Kenny the electrician was very professional and a friendly / honest guy . I would 100% recommend and use this company again

• Kitchen Repairs and crack filling.

  The company was quick and the handyman himself was polite, friendly, and worked to a good standard. The worker worked quickly to meet their time down and to save me money. Simple, no-frills solutions were suggested but the sanding and painting was left to me with some instructions. The filler used in the ceiling was not dry in the timeframe suggested and although was touch dry in places, I messed the filler up trying to sand it. They came out again next day but charged for the work. Despite the error occurring while following their instructions and them needing to touch up other parts.

• Boiler service and replacement of kitchen sockets

  Annual boiler service carried out by Craig was excellent and consequently a new thermostat was required which was installed by Jacob. I took the opportunity to replace some kitchen sockets at the same time.
