    John and his team did an outstanding job. John quickly identified what had caused the problem which was a lack of ventilation therefore more air bricks were needed. The work was completed with minimum mess and a full explanation was given. The team were very professional and polite and the plastering is absolutely brilliant. A job very well done and would highly recommend.

    Early January I had contacted John due to Damp Proofing work needed on a property purchase in Durham. The previous Damp Proof Specialist (Damp Stop)advised we needed Damp Proofing,We paid in full for work to be carried out and he had not completed any work and taken 100% of payment. John from Blackburn Damp Proofing who was prompt with responding and booking in a site visit. John arrived on time and had established no damp proofing was needed as I had originally been quoted he explained why very throughly and guided me towards the next steps. There are a lot of short-term measures in Damp Proofing such as, Tanking Systems, injection and "Sand and Cement" system.

The latest trend is companies using a foil backed plasterboard.
