  • Loft boarding

    Dave and his team were asked to come in to re-board our loft after we had new super thick insulation fitted. We were going to use stilts to support the new boarding, but Dave recommended he build a timber frame for better stability. I am so glad of his suggestion, we now have a solid and well boarded loft space. We have used Blackwell Builders before and would not hesitate to do so again - thanks Dave

    Involved remedial work to original smaller extension, ground work, brick work, soffits, fascias, guttering, drainage. Had reliable contacts from all specialist trades such as electrics and window/door suppliers. Marked down on scoring slightly as, through no fault of theirs, the prices of materials went sky high, the timeline was increased due to unforeseen things that needed remedial work underground. Despite living on site during the building work, every effort was made to make life comfortable whilst surrounded by rubble and tools. Informative about processes and keen to help in any way.
