  • Replace Water Damaged Oak Flooring

    We have used Terry for many years. He works to an exceptionally high standard. No corners are cut and everything is done with expert skill and knowledge. Yet again Terry has exceeded our expectations. The new floor and skirting has been faultlessly installed.

    Sloped driveway meant water ingress to garage with heavy rain. New drainage channel created. Guttering also replaced. All work carried out to the highest of standards. Terry has undertaken various work for us over a number of years and highly recommend him.

    Couldn’t have asked for better builders. Terry & George were very professional, courteous and extremely tidy considering the build! The workmanship and quality was second to none and they work tirelessly to get the job done. They were always honest and thorough throughout the works, we were actually sad to see them go! Also would like to add they were very trustworthy and were fully focussed & committed to our build. Would highly recommend!

He was detailed, of a high standard with integrity and trustworthiness..and I couldn’t have chosen any better. Terrys’ work colleague George was equally of a high standard and their banter and personable nature made the project a joy. Terry has the ability to see possibilities and has an excellent eye..and a high set of standards. I would highly recommend him.. you’re safe in his hands ..which gives ultimate peace of mind.

  • Water leak detection in solid floor.

    Terry and George visited to find a water leak we had in a solid floor. We had visible signs of water and damp in various locations around the walls. Terry and George had to remove the wooden flooring, underfloor heating and underlay prior to very carefully excavating the floor covering the pipes to find the water leak. This was painstaking work which they did with great skill, casing no damage to the existing pipework. After a considerable amount of work, they found the water leak. We have used Bob Miller and Son on several occasions and would have no hesitation in recommending them

Founded in 1987, the family business Bob Miller and Son has over 33 years experience in the Building and Construction sector, with the focus on providing extensions, loft conversions and general building work to clients within the local area.

The company is based in Worthing and only ever takes on one job at a time. Plans, Building Regulations and Planning Permission obtained. A full portfolio of previous work is available, and on site viewings. Bob Miller and Son has a satisfied group of customers, situated in and around the Worthing and Bognor area.

With an experienced team of plasterers, plumbers, carpenters, kitchen fitters, roofers, (all non smokers) Bob Miller and Son has a professional team, with a high standard. This is a company that prides itself on a clean site and knows how to use dust sheets and a hoover. 

After many years in the trade we are pleased to say that we were nominated by Worthing Building Control for the LABC Buildings Excellence Awards in the categories of 'Best Extension or Alteration to an Existing Home' and 'Best Local Builder or Traditional Craftsperson'. We were then short listed in the final 10 in both categories as Regional Finalist for the South East. Guess we must be doing something right!
