• Initial repair, then flat roof replacement and tile replacement

  I would highly recommend this company. They have done work on several houses on our street and we’ve all had a positive experience. An initial repair was done just before Christmas to sort out a leak and then full work was done to replace the flat roof once the weather allowed. The team were polite, helpful, good at explaining what needed doing and inspired confidence.

  Will and The Team were recommended on my street’s WhatsApp group. Had only asked them to replace the leaking gutters but when on the roof they realised the chimney needed repointing and then that the roof timbers and felt were rotten. They were very professional-took photos to show the issues, gave me quotes for using my old tiles or getting new ones explaining the pros and cons of each option and ensuring that I didn’t feel under duress to accept their quote (which was very competitive) They made good the plaster damage in the attic bedroom at no extra cost and tidied up fully afterwards.

  Professional high quality work. We were left high and dry by a cowboy roofer. Butler and Son's were excellent in helping us out of a difficult situation while being honest about the process and outcome. The team were always courteous and kind. The quality of work is obvious to see. Responsive when small issues noted and quick to fix. I would thoroughly recommend this team and will use again.

• Repairing and refurbishing rear roof extension

  Having used Butler and Son to redo my main roof, I knew I wanted them to look at the rear extension which had developed a leak. They came out quickly to try and patch the leak and treated the further work necessary as a priority (this included new felt, battens and providing additional support to an old chimney stack). Professional, polite and reliable, I highly recommend Bill, Will and the team.
