  I was very impressed with Ricky and his team. I had had a number of quotes before approaching Ricky and he was able to advice that a lot of the work I was being quoted for to fix a leak in my roof was unnecessary. Ricky was able to offer me a much better quote and advice on what was absolutely necessary. His organised the scaffolding and his team were on site within the week and carried out an expert job on installing air vent tiles and completely redoing the flashing around my chimney which was the cause of the leak. I would highly recommend them.

  I cannot recommend Clarkes enough,Ricky who owns the company is a brilliant project manager who tells things as they are and gives you options, if an unforeseen situation occurs Ricky reacts and solves it, we needed a plumber for the job after an issue with removing our radiator Ricky sorted it immediately so we were not slowed down. The work that was done was great quality and the tradesman who did the job were very hard working. Ricky came over and checked the quality and professionalism of the work he is ensured they cleaned up really well. The work is fantastic and to a high standard

  Clarkes of Brighton responded promptly to my enquiry and Rikky gave me a competitive estimate and some sound advice about what to look out for when choosing firms to do roofing work - he helped me avoid a very expensive mistake. The work, installing a new roof and repairing a chimney stack has been completed in a week. Today I inspected the new roof and repaired chimney stack and was delighted with the work which has been done to a to a very professional standard using high quality materials. Full marks for Rikky and all the members of his team.

• Suspected roof leak

  I called Ricky as my 86yr old mum was worried about a small patch on her lounge ceiling. Ricky went the next morning with a colleague assessed the area and then found the problem which was a leaking pipe not the roof. They were incredibly polite, helpful and I couldnt recommend them highly enough. I will absolutely use them again. Thank you for such great service.

• Roofing repair well done

  Ricky came round and quickly assessed what needed to be done to fix the leak in my ridge vent and the need to put in more soffit vents to help airflow in the attic. It was a small job so he asked his colleague Matt to do it on Saturday! Matt appeared on time and did the job expertly and quickly. I had had other roofers come and quote or just turn up but then never quote and as you know we have had torrential rain so all roofers are really busy! So was Ricky and his team but they did what they said they would do, on the right day, for a reasonable price and with a smile! Top marks all round!
