  They were very thorough in explaining the options available to us in replacing our old boiler, including giving guidance on what else needed doing in the loft in order to prepare for the works. They were timely, got the work done faster than they'd quoted, and a pleasure to work with.

  We needed a new boiler as our old one, which was over 15 years old was on its last legs. We have always used Climate Solutions in the past, and have always had a good relationship and service with them. They came out and looked at the old boiler to see if it could be salvaged, but recommended a new one due to the age, as we would just be constantly throwing money at it to get it repaired. They ordered a new boiler and it was delivered and fitted within a week. The service was professionally carried out by their technician and the job was a clean and tidy.

• Replace an old central heating pump.

  I had previously ask 3 different heating engineers whether they could do the work. I was then given Climate Solutions as a recommendation - contacted them on the Tuesday, work completed on the Friday - superb service. Quoted off photos which speeded up the process. Engineer arrived on time, assessed the work, completed on time and left the place tidy. The work was to replace the pump and valve, and clean the sludge from the header tank. We had been living with a noisy pump for months - the quietness of the new pump has transformed the house.

• Central heating valve repair

  Central heating malfunctioned whilst away on holiday, leaving my non-resident daughter to deal with the issue. My confidence in simply referring her to Climate Solutions was well-founded. Not only did they fix the immediate issue professionally and promptly but also did so with much appreciated "above and beyond" customer care. The permanent fix, completed on my return, was not straightforward but, at all times, the communication and desire to complete the job properly was excellent.
