  Martin answered the phone quickly, promised to call back when he wasn't driving and did so within 30 minutes. He set a time to come to my property and kept me fully in the loop even though he was running only a little late. He diagnosed the problem and gave me a date the following week when he could return to fit a new softener. This he did and he was very personable, prompt, tidy and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending him without reservation.

  Martin has been absolutely brilliant the whole way through the job of supplying and fitting a water softener into our new kitchen, which had to be done in stages due to the nature of our renovations. He made a number of visits over several months, and explained everything very clearly. He installed ALL the new under-sink pipework (not just for the softener) and it is incredibly neat and tidy, taking up minimal space in the cupboard, so he is clearly a very skilled plumber, as well as being very pleasant and personable. The softener itself has just been installed and we are delighted with the result.

  Martin gave a great service. Easy to deal with, listened to our requirements and gave us suitable options to choose from. Straightforward pricing with no hidden surprises. Made excellent use of the space available in our modest kitchen to install the water softener in such a way as to lose an absolute minimum of otherwise useful space. Re-plumbing and installation were carried out to high standard. I would highly recommend Compass Water Softeners!

  Excellent communication. He arrived promptly on the time agreed. He respected our property by covering carpets in the areas where he was working. Service was carried out with no problem at all. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

  Martin Perrin was professionalism itself: polite, punctual, quiet and an excellent explainer of what a householder needs to know and do, certainly not a pushy salesman , obvious because I had done significant research before his initial survey. As someone with a plumbing background he was also able to replace a valve on the loft cold water tank which had been 'dripping' a small volume previously thus messing up the softener's ability to measure water flow rates. In terms of overall service provision, faultless, cannot be too highly recommended.
