    On his initial visit Mark confirmed my concerns that our oil tank needed replacing. He then advised us on the relevant building regs and we agreed to site for the new tank. D&S were able to carry out the work soon after the initial visit. They first came to dig out and lay a new concrete base. Four days later they fitted the new tank and removed the old one. Both Mark and his colleague were extremely polite and efficient. The site was left clean and tidy and I was shown how to use the tag monitoring system, I would not hesitate to recommend D&S.

    Mark and his team visited twice. Recently, removed water from tank so we could get heating up and running again in the cold spell we had. Today returned and replaced our old tank with a new bunded one. All work carried out to a high standard. Very tidy workers. Would definitely recommend.

Welcome to D&S Tanks, a family run business established for over 30 years. We manufacture our own single skin & Bunded steel oil tanks and offer a full tank installation, replacement and maintenance service for both steel and plastic oil tanks.


Covering all aspects from the tank base, supports, pipe work up to the boiler and all your future maintenance needs. All our work is carried out by our highly experienced, skilled and Oftec registered engineers. We offer free, honest and impartial advice on the type and style of tank best suited to your requirements and in particular whether or not the tank should be Bunded. We are an independent oil tank installation company; we do not pay commissions to oil companies or boiler engineers to get business and therefore do not have to pass those costs onto our customers.

We offer free site visits and quotes. Are fully insured. Offer fantastic guarantee periods on all products and all end of life oil tanks are now completely recycled.


As an Oftec registered company we are able to self certify our work with Building Control on completion. Any installer not registered with a competent persons scheme must notify or seek approval from building control before any work commences. This involves extra fees and potential time delays for installations.
