• Roof Repairs (Loose Guttering & Broken Slate)

  I contacted David Walker Roofing Specialist Ltd on 08/04/2024, regarding some loose guttering and a broken slate on my roof, which had caused a leak in the kitchen. David and his colleague called at my property on 10/04/2024 and completed the repairs to the guttering and replaced a broken slate that had caused water to leak into the kitchen. I was very pleased with the quick response to my request and the standard of workmanship was excellent. I would recommend David Walker Roofing Ltd for any repairs to your roof.

• Leaks around chimneys repaired.

  We had persistent leaks around both chimneys, which two roofers had failed to fix. Dave came round the day after contact, diagnosed a roofing felt problem, then came back a week later to repair. He didn't have the right size Welsh slates so he put in temporary ones after fixing the felt. Later when I'd got some slates from the reclamation yard he came back and completed the job. Both leaks are drying out nicely. Dave always turns up, and it is early, so be ready! Also have some spare slates available if they are an unusual size. Dave is a very reliable contractor who you can depend on.

  Had a great experience with Dave and his team, proper grafters fair play. Roof completed within a few days and they worked in awful weather to ensure it was done. Cleaned up all the mess and left it tidy. Very happy with the job, definitely recommend them

• Emergency roof repair

  I contacted Dave because we had a roof leak which my insurers Home Emergency wouldn't deal with. Dave visited the day after I contacted him, told me what he thought the problem was, gave me an estimate of the cost and returned within 3 days to fix it. Given he was up to eyes in other work due to the bad weather we had before Christmas I was very impressed with his customer care and efficiency. Have already recommended Dave to a friend and will continue to do so.
