    We couldn't be happier or more impressed by the service and professionalism provided by Dan. From our first contact with him Dan gave us appointment times that were rigidly adhered to-with him updating us as to his arrival time. He listened to what we wanted and gave us ideas as to how the work could be carried out or improved. Dan worked extremely hard and quickly but with the aim of doing the best possible job. We are so pleased with the result-it all looks fresh and modern. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dan. Brilliant workmanship.

    I was looking for a dog house / dog bed to match my kitchen so that I could have just one place for my little furry friends bed. Dan made me a beautiful unit in a shaker style to match my kitchen with an oak coloured top, it is prefect just what I was looking for, and Charlie loves it also!

    I met with Dan to explain what I needed and he measured up the area. Dan brought samples with him so I could choose the materials. He then came back again just to double check measurements. The wardrobes were fitted into an attic flat bedroom and they look absolutely fantastic. They were finished in under two days and my flat was left very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Dan and would definitely use his services again.

Hi there,

Thank you for showing an interest in my business. 

My name is Dan and I’m a sole trader who runs D Watson Carpentry.

If you contact D Watson Carpentry, it will be myself who you will deal with from start to finish, from answering the phone to completing the finished job. I offer free quotations and always happy to help with any questions.

I’ve been in the carpentry trade since 1998 completing a full apprenticeship, gaining an NVQ City & Guilds advanced level 3 in carpentry and joinery. I would consider myself experienced and knowledgeable within my trade.

I carry out most general carpentry jobs. I very much enjoy and specialise in fitted furniture including bedrooms, study’s and bespoke units. This could be a small bespoke table to fit an awkward space or large bespoke storage units to fill a whole wall. 

I feel I have a good eye for detail and conscious of providing what the customer needs, offering my experience and advice to achieve the desired outcome along the way. I pride myself on high quality finishes and sturdy workmanship for every budget.

My main lines of work are listed below, although I do enjoy adapting my skills to one off projects within my trade experience.
