  • Replacement of aging windscreen wipers at short notice

    On this occasion, the work involved was only small-scale but was carried out immediately by the excellent staff at this service station to the usual high standard. My panel van is of 2003 vintage and I've made a deliberate choice to maintain it/meet all of its ongoing servicing requirements because it continues to play an important part in my life - over the years, the people at Dave Coles Garage (both in the yard and the office) have met every challenge a vehicle of that age presents, promptly, efficiently, with technical expertise (and sometimes, even with enthusiasm). Thank you, as ever.

    Amazing service. Paul was very detailed In the problems that needed fixing and pragmatic about sorting some problems as a matter of priority while advising that some not so urgent and could be sorted at a later date or not at a point that need addressing yet. Kept me up to date on many occasions throughout the day and provided many options. Some garages would just replace stuff just to make extra money but Not Dave Cole’s they are very honest and very helpful. Emma on the front desk was very helpful. The job even ended up be cheeper then quoted due to taking less hours then expect.

    Dave Coles are honestly the best garage I have ever used and will only ever use. I’ve taken my older to car to them for various issues but my newer car experienced a diesel runway, didn’t think I would see the car again but Dave Coles and his team looked over every inch of my car and they fixed it! Luckily didn’t need the engine replacing, it was a long job took 4 weeks and they kept me updated all the way through, even let me use to courtesy car for those 4 weeks which was a life saver, the car is now back with me and running better than it did before, 100% recommend!

Dave Coles Garage Gosport Ltd is a local, independent garage servicing Gosport and the surrounding area since 1997. Dave had 23 years of engineering experience in the royal navy. when he left he spent 3 years as a mobile mechanic until 2000 when he opened the garage. We currently have six fully qualified technicians with a collective experience of over seventy years. all of which started and finished their apprenticeships with us. we are continuing our apprenticeship program with a new apprentice starting with us just this year.

Our reputation is very important to us, and we believe that reputation is due in no small part to our commitment to maintaining very high standards in all our service and repair work and therefore we only use OE quality parts.

We believe that we should continually strive to review the effectiveness of our systems and procedures by having all of our technicians continue their training, and keeping our equipment and tooling up to date, this means we can maintain the high standard we’re known for.
