  Lee and Max did a magnificent job of laying a new drive, fence, paths and seating area, and creating new garden beds. We are very very pleased with the quality of their work: it is superb. This is despite them having to work in atrocious weather conditions. We appreciated how responsive Lee was to our wishes, and how he investigated options in order to carry out our ideas. Our front garden is the talk of the street, everybody admiring the job they did and the attitude of them both as they were doing the work. Seeing this, others in our street have now also engaged them.

  Lee and Max did a fantastic job of converting our patch of cracked sloping concrete into a brilliant outside space. They worked very quickly and efficiently, and were both calm and polite. I particularly liked that Lee would come up with inventive creative solutions, ie he suggested building a door underneath the decking so we could store stuff there, and added wooden rails to the decking. The paving and the decking both look great. They were also amenable to sealing the paving stones which meant returning to add 2 x coats. We're both very happy!

  The job that I originally asked for was relatively small, a few raised beds and a patio repointed. However, the job grew into a complete landscaping project, levelling the sloping lawn and relaying, laying and extending a new patio and raised beds, among other things. Lee was so helpful, never once did he complain that yet again I had changed my mind and moved the goal post…which I did several times! They always tidied up at the end of the day, were always very polite and very conscientious. I cannot fault their workmanship nor behaviour. I Highly recommend these guys!!

• Redesigning and levelling our garden and laying a patio on a limited budget

  Cannot recommend Lee and Max highly enough. We had a really tricky sloped garden with large sleepers in the middle which leaked tar. Lee came for a consultation, listened to our requirements and our limited budget and came back with a garden which was better than we ever imagined it could be. Such friendly, reliable pair. Was super flexible for changing requirements throughout, and didn't make any additions without consulting us about price. We're about to have a baby and the work was completed quickly. Arranged a skip and left our space flawless. Even helped us put up some shelves!

  Lee and Max laid a beautiful patio for us. Our old deck was rotten and dangerous. Lee came and offered advice and priced the work. We couldn’t be happier with the result. They were so tidy, knowledgeable and professional. We now have a lovely level patio to have a G&T on.
