Stair lift removal.

When my wife passed away last April I needed to have the stair lift removed for access up the stairs to give space for a new cooker .When I rang up for removal advice I was given very short shift. So I had to contact Stannah direct.

We are sorry to hear that you felt the service you received was not helpful in connection to the removal of your stairlift. At the time, we as a company adopted a very cautious approach to the amount of staff and client contact due to the COVID outbreak. Following government guidelines to minimize contact, we decided to temporarily suspend lift removals and prioritized breakdown only jobs as a result. During usual operations it is always our intention to remove stairlifts fitted by us FOC. I hope this goes some way to help understand our position. Regards, Neil Welham - Director.
