9.25Verified ReviewLeigh came to assess the damage from a roof leak very promptly and was able to repair the damage to the roof that week. Job came in as quoted and work was completed well. We subsequently booked Leigh for a second non-emergent job to repair some roof tiles that had come off the roof. Job came in under quote and was completed well. There was good communication as we had to reschedule due to lots of rain.

10Verified ReviewWe had a bad experience with another roofer (Charlie Walsh of Deal: avoid!) who used the wrong kind of flashing which resulted in leaks into our garage and failed to come back to put it right ‘out of good will’(!) after a year of waiting. Leigh came to see the job as soon as we contacted him and did a prompt and professional job with the right kind of flashing and also installed a coping stone to assist water run-off that the other roofer should have done. Leigh also charged more reasonable prices and was far more courteous and respectful. We would strongly recommend him. He is a gentleman!

Hi, my name is Leigh Brown a proud member of checkatrade. I am 43 and my company is based in Canterbury. I have been in the building trade for over 25 years now.
I started off as a roofer for 10 years learning and watching as I went along. Then I had the chance to become a finishing foreman which I took. From there on I never looked back and in no time become a site manager for Churchill retirement living. At my time there I took many courses, first aid and many more plus winning site manager of the year (2007) pride in the job award which I was very proud of. Then after a lull in the building game I decided to go on my own when I started up Elite Building and roofing maintenance and since then never looked back, Seeing my own building firm going from strength to strength and giving customer firsts class jobs is all I am looking to do!
