  • Valve and Expansion Vessel replacement

    During a thorough inspection, Gerard identified a defective valve causing a leak from my tundish. Additionally, he noticed that the expansion tank bladders were ruptured. Gerard promptly sourced two replacements, enabling me to pick them up directly from the supplier and fitted them the next day. He is a genuine, knowledgeable, and professional individual committed to delivering excellent service. I wholeheartedly recommend him and will certainly use his services again.

  • Emergency Replacement for isolation valve

    Gerard responded very quickly (same day) to my request to restore our heating by replacing a broken isolation valve on the hot water pipe to our shower. This is the second time we have called on his services in an emergency (previously had a flooded outbuilding). In both cases, he has responded very quickly, and applied fixes in a professional, friendly, and lasting way. It is so good to have a local plumber that is so responsive and caring. THANK YOU. I would recommend GTI for all plumbing and gas work, and will keep his number handy.

    I’ve been using GTI heating for 3 years now for an annual boiler service. Easy to make an appointment, arrives on time, competitive price and great friendly service. On other occasions has helped to solve a stuck radiator valve and a leaking mains water valve. Again good service, results and price. I can definitely recommend GTI heating.

    Gerard fitted our boiler 7 years ago and has serviced it annually since. The original job involved moving it into the loft and re-routing a lot of piping. The job was done really well, left clean and we've had no issues since. As well as a trusted worker, Gerard is a really nice and friendly guy and we'd thoroughly recommend him.

    Gerard has just replaced a leaking oil line from tank to boiler and he's done a great job (which we knew he would) and we are very grateful. He works very hard, is honest and we can't sing his praises high enough. Hello, I'm Gerard and I run Gti Heating and Plumbing. I have over 15 years’ experience in the Heating and Plumbing industry.


Gti covers all aspects of Heating and Plumbing. We are Gas Safe and Oftec registered and work on Oil, Natural gas and LPG boilers. For all these boiler types we cover installing, maintaining and servicing. We also install and maintain Oil tanks. We install combi boilers, system boilers and heat only boiler upgrades. We can work on all heating system layouts from the very basic to the very complicated. We cover most elements of heating systems including underfloor heating.

At Gti we feel that providing high product with our quality customer service is of upmost importance for this reason we are;

Grant g one accredited installer, this allows us offer up.to 10 years manufacturer’s warranty on their boilers.

We can also offer up to 10 years manufacturer’s warranty on Vaillant boilers, baxi boilers and Ideal boilers.

I hold G3 Unvented water qualifications. This gives you the option to get an Unvented mains pressure cylinder with you new or existing boiler. 

In the Plumbing aspects we also have vast experience and will undertake everything from a full Hot and Cold-water installation, open vented hot water as well as direct and indirect cold water. We are happy to project manage your new bathroom or just fix your dripping tap. No job is too big or too small.
