  John carried out some painting work to refresh my hallway, stairs and landing. He communicated well and kept me up to date with progress. He was reliable and very tidy!! Really happy with end result.

  Job took 3 days approx 14 hours New ceiling was given prime and 1 coat. On completion ceiling looked good. There are some missed places on the gloss and some cracks still visible on the walls but the job was passable and we were prepared to accept. 5 days later we touched the ceiling and a white powdery residue came off, tracing a finger across the ceiling produced a trail. Currently this is still the case. We called the decorator but he was dismissive. Ceiling findings have now been confirmed by an independent decorator who has agreed to be contacted.

  We were booked in to have them see the spaces at the weekend, but personal circumstances meant they couldn't attend (although understandable, it would have been nice to have been told rather than having to chase ourselves so we weren't unnecessarily waiting in for the visit). Rescheduled for this afternoon but, having just asked for a time to make sure my husband was out of the office, they just apologised and said they can't make it pitching the weekend instead, which we can't do. Disappointing as our timeframe has shrunk and we need the work doing ASAP.

  John did a great job which also included a repair, replacing a rotten piece of wood. Tidy and polite, he posted the key back to me as promised once the job was finished.

  John came and gave me a quote and started the job after finishing his previous one. Always arrived on time and always very courteous. He explained what needed to be done and was very meticulous. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Explained why the job was taking slightly longer. The quality of his workmanship is excellent. I would definitely use his services again and would recommend highly. Great job John and thanks for the laughs too.
