• Our old tired tiled roof needed a lot of help

  Only a 9 for timekeeping but the weather had been dreadful beforehand so I was possibly harsh on a start date delay. The work was carried out very well to a high finish by Matt Giles' team who were cheerful and well mannered. The team only scored a 6 for tidiness as they did clutter the site until put right by Matt. Altogether a very satisfactory job.

• Guttering needed re-routing and some others odd jobs

  Of the 6 roofers I called Matthew was the only one who replied; he came round within a few days to take a look, and managed to fit me in a couple of days later as he knew it needed to be done asap. Always messaged to provide updates on arrival times, came as he promised and did the job that was needed. Thank you!

• Repair to roof

  Matthew and team came to look and repair roof which was leaking. Roof ridge tiles needed to be refixed and they checked the rest of the roof tiles to see if any were broken. They cleaned the roof and gutters of moss and washed the gutters off. They were all polite and had a great sense of humour which we liked. They left the property very clean and tidy and took all the rubbish away. A big thank you to all the team for what you done.

• Chimney removal and various other roof jobs

  I called Matt when I noticed water getting into my attic. I was aware of a few other existing issues as the house is old. He and his team removed one chimney and made good, upgraded flashing on another chimney and carried out a few other jobs which has resulted in no more water getting through the roof. The work was disrupted by the awful weather recently but he kept me posted about what would be done and when. He was also very happy to show me the work which looked professional to me. His team were also very keen to tidy up as they went and on completion. I would definitely recommend him.
