  • New bespoke oak door

    Andy built us a fully bespoke oak door to replace a rotting door for our outdoor boiler/electrics room. As with previous projects Andy has done for us in the past year, the level of craftsmanship was excellent, and the aesthetic improvement was huge from the shabby old one. He also redid the frame around it, all at a very reasonable price given the time and effort it took.

    It's been a few years since Andy last did work for us, but when professional work was needed on our garden, Greenman was our first choice. Despite the thoroughly unpleasant weather, Andy worked tirelessly. He explained his choice of materials and methods, and made sure both we and our neighbour were pleased with the plan and the result. Our previously storm-damaged fences are now looking good for a many more years. We've invited also Andy back to help get our garden ready for the warmer months.

  • Cladding an outdoor pool

    We had an eyesore of an above ground pool in our (relatively new) Brighton home, resembling a Soviet bunker on the outside. Andy advised cladding this in timber, and despite different angles at every point, has created a lovely finish with an option to stain at the end. Always happy to advice, gets on brilliantly with our kids and dog, and very trustworthy! Price is always fair too, never feel like you're paying over the odds. 10/10

    Andy has recently resolved some issues that I have had with some external drain pipes and he also rendered some of the outside wall . He is professional, tidy , efficient, helpful and friendly .     Andy pruned and reshaped a yew tree in our back garden. The work was discussed and agreed on beforehand. Andy carried out the work efficiently and in the expected timeframe. Andy disposed of all the garden waste, swept up thoroughly and left the garden tidier than before he started. This is the third time Andy has done work for us. He is always conscientious, polite and courteous and his work is of a high standard. We will definitely ask Andy to do work for us in the future and have no hesitation in highly recommending him
