  Geoff has just finished replacing our 12 internal doors and we're very pleased with the work that's been completed. His craftsmanship is excellent and all our new doors were fitted perfectly. Our house was always left clean and tidy. Geoff used hand tools to reduce the amount of dust. We always found Geoff polite and a pleasure to talk to. We would definitely recommend Geoff for any carpentry work.

• Staircase

  Geoff removed and replaced in oak the handrails, spindles, base rails, clad the posts and strings up the stairs and across the landing and did a really superb job. His skill is evident particularly in overcoming the issues in the original build and watching him handcutting the strings. He is a genuinely nice guy who takes his time to get things right and was happy to discuss options as he went through the work. The end result is excellent. I would strongly recommend Geoff based on the job he did for us. One thing - make sure you have a good supply of coffee avaiable!

• Fitting of 12 Hardwood internal doors

  Excellent craftsmanship. One door needed customising for under the stairs. Geoff demonstrated his skills from years as a cabinet maker in completing this task. Very pleased with the finished job on all the doors. House kept clean and tidy throughout. (Hand tools only used, rather than electric saws and planer, which reduced the dust produced.) Geoff himself is very polite and a pleasure to talk to. A good experience throughout. We would (and have) recommend Geoff for any carpentry work.

• Fitted bedroom wardrobes

  Geoff made and fitted bespoke bedroom fitted wardrobes for us during October 2023. This was the second time we have used Geoff, following his excellent work fitting a new oak balustrade/spindles. Geoff is a master of his craft. Polite, easy to work with, trustworthy and an all round lovely fella. The wardrobes were fitted to an excellent standard, exactly as we wanted them. He kept us informed throughout. As ever, all he needs is a few cups of tea as fuel. Excellent work, and thoroughly recommended. Five stars.
