    Incredibly fast and professional. Communication was excellent throughout. GWS installed two cat flaps for us, one in a glass door and the other in a narrow door. Glass panel replaced with new plastic panel (as requested) and a cat flap found for the narrow gap. Our cat is thrilled, as are we!

    We had water leaking under a PVC window into our room. What we thought initially might have a been a small job turned out bigger than expected. Jez and his son explained clearly what the problem was and came up with a solution. They weren’t able to do it immediately because they had to order parts in and also because of the dreadful weather. The job was done in a timely manner. They kept us informed every step of the way and were very efficient. Two lovely guys who we would use again and we would definitely recommend.

    The time keeping comment is slightly misleading but Jez came and measured up the job and told us that he'd be with us within a time frame. We organised to be at the property on a certain day and he didn't turn up. We contacted him and he said he was now too busy. It was shortly after a period of very bad weather I suspect he'd had a lot of emergency calls. He arrived very much later and said he needed to remeasure?? The appointment was rebooked and he and assistant turned up changed the velux glass panel were efficient friendly and delightful to deal with. The left the place clean and vacumed.

Hi my name is Jez Gates & I own a small, friendly family company called G.W.S. (Gates Window Services & Locks). I have 35 years experience in the double glazing Industry. We are glass restoring specialists and we offer servicing of windows. This includes putty glazing and lead windows.

I am also a registered Locksmith & a Fensa NVQ Window installer. The company has been running for over 15 years & most of my work is from recommendations. I take pride in my work & like my customers to be completely happy with the work that I have carried out. I also leave the property clean & tidy.
