  • Fitting a wood burning stove in a new conservatory

    I was having problems finding a stove for my new conservatory that could be places in the specific space I needed. On the recommendation of my chimney sweep I contacted HSI and they were able to recommend a different type of stove what meet my needs. They did a great job and were able to work around my timescales which (due to the ongoing construction were changing frequently) There were some slight additional costs as I was outside their normal coverage area, but the supply and fitting of the a stove that no one else had suggested made my entire project viable

    So pleased with the log burner installation in our garden office. Tracy and Terry were a delight from the outset providing very clear guidance on the type of burner we should opt for in the garden office. Terry installed the burner to a very high standard and even helped clear some of the overhanging branches which were impeding the chimney. They even provided some complimentary logs, kindling and firelighters! Fantastic company and I would highly recommend.

    It was a pleasure dealing with Tracy and Terry from the start to the finish of this project. They were well informed and knowledgable on the woodstoves and nice to deal with. Everything was well organised from the purchase of the new stove right through to installation. This included the installation of a new chimney. So much so, we plan to move over to them for the stove cleaning service they offer. You can't get more highly recommended than that.

At HSI, we pride ourselves in offering a prompt, efficient & friendly family run service, no chimney is no problem with our twin wall internal and external systems. When you call you will only ever speak with either Terry (who carries out all surveys and installations) or Tracy (who handles all phone calls, showroom, ordering and diary etc). We are a HETAS approved fully insured company and are always conscious of our customers needs. We are also pleased to offer estimates, we fully guarantee all of our work. We have recently moved our work premises (literally approximately 30 feet) and have a small showroom area in our new unit - we are open by appointment only. We can proudly say that we are a dealer for Ekol and Saltfire and for the more modern stove Termatech, along with Mi Flue Stoves and Woolly Mammoth Stoves. We have now also got a Facebook page.
