• Black mold, damp and leak.

  After finding black mold in my property, concerned there was a leak and some damp walls, I looked online for someone who could help. James called me back straight away and arranged a visit very quickly and visited over the weekend. James tested my walls for damp with a machine and luckily no damp was found. He gave me advice on how to prevent mold from coming back and things to avoid, gave solutions for air vents, window drip tray and an air flow systems. He was really informative and helpful. James didn’t need to carry out any work and didn’t charge me for the visit. I would highly recommend

• Damp Fixing

  James and his team carried out 3 different pieces of work during a house renovation for us. 2 x Damp work and 1 x Woodworm treatment. He was very swift with communications and his work was tidy and competitive when it came to pricing. I was also really pleased as he fixed my neighbours damp issue on our party wall. Obviously want to keep the neighbours happy and they were also really complementary of the work carried out and the tidiness. Strongly recommend the team

  The only contact I had with James at HWD was via email as the work that needed to be done was in a rental property. However, communication was always clear and very detailed. The quote I initially received was extremely detailed and precise. I was in contact with the tenants throughout and they were very impressed with all aspects of the service. They mentioned specifically the knowledge, tidiness, communication and politeness while the job was completed.

  We contacted James after our surveyor reported active woodworm in our attic. We received a prompt reply and after a brief phone discussion I forwarded some photos of the area. James supplied a very competitive quotation and we agreed a day and time that suited us. The work was carried out very quickly and efficiently. There was no mess and I was surprised that the treatment did not smell afterwards. Very happy and I thoroughly recommend this company.
