    We’re absolutely delighted with our new extension! Starting a major build in winter was fairly stressful, but Gary was very calm and patient, managing the work brilliantly to ensure minimal disruption. He showed his knowledge and experience by suggesting changes which really improved the build, and respected our wishes (and indecisiveness!), which was appreciated. Gary, his team, and everyone he brought in were highly skilled, tidy, respectful, and great to work with, always calm and friendly despite the weather. They finished on time and on budget and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend H&C!

    From start to finish Gary and his team were exemplary! On initial consultation Gary gave fantastic advise which changed the plans and ultimately made the space perfect for us! We were also issued a clear estimate and payment schedule We were on a very tight budget which Gary had to work with and did so brilliantly. We got the exact build we wanted and were kept up to date with the spend throughout - we didn’t have to compromise Everyone that worked on the build was polite and grafted! They were great working around the kids and the dog. We could not be happier with the quality of finish!

    Garry, Nigel and Troy went above and beyond to build us the extension of our dreams. All works were carried out professionally from initial contact and within the expected timeline. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely tidy. Nothing was too much for them, no problems only Solutions, when I changed my mind on certain items.. I would definitely and I have already to 3 other people, recommend this company for any building works and would not hesitate to use them again for future works.

Welcome to H& C Construction Sussex Ltd, I have worked in the building trade for over 35 years.

I've carried out all aspects of building work in particular specialise in extensions. My works regularly involve also garage conversions Bricklaying, refurbishments and general conversions.

I've used the same tradesman to carry out my work for a long time and have established a reliable and professional service from Design to completion.

I can carry out an entire Job with no need to call on anyone else to include every item needed on a build, i.e. plumbing, plastering, bricklaying, carpentry, flooring, double glazing, tiling, supply kitchens, conservatories.

I am a member of Checkatrade for the last 12 years with excellent feedback and have been recommended from professionals such as architects and structural engineers. I also had a special mention in a magazine feature on employing builders (Money matters) and in 2015 was nominated with the Local authority building control as a finalist for works carried out in two categories

I've built many extensions locally and carried out garage conversions, internal conversions, office refurbishments, loft conversions, and so on.

I've managed various projects and been in the construction industry since leaving school and trained initially as a Bricklayer.

All my tradesmen have a minimum of time served /or apprenticeship served.
