  • Refurbishment of a terraced house

    Quality of the work acceptable but with many snags that I had to resolve myself. Timekeeping quite poor: the deadline was missed (even if I was reassured 2 days before that there was no problem in meeting it) and things were rushed to be completed. Very untidy on site, I had to remove tools at the end of the job to put them in the garage. The kitchen was left in terrible conditions at the end of the job and I had to remove paint marks everywhere (from cupboards, windows, window sills, radiators etc). Most of the filler around the sockets was painted on without being finished or sanded.

  • Install Cellotex insulation between ceiling joists. Replace plasterboard ceiling and skim plaster.

    Steve was prompt in responding to my request for a quotation and organising for the work to be carried out. Work was carried out on time and with excellent workmanship. Minimum disruption and area left clean upon completion. I was particularly impressed that the adjacent wallpaper wasn't damaged while plastering. Thank you Steve, Dean and Nikki for a job well done.
