• Boiler service / replacement

  Stuart was really professional, friendly and helpful. What started out as a boiler service ended up as a replacement because it was emitting high levels of carbon monoxide and was so old that replacement parts would have almost cost as much as a new one anyway. When we realised it was looking like we'd have to go for a new one, which meant he'd have to come back the next day, Stuart was apologetic and wanted to wave his fee for the work on the first day which was very kind of him but we insisted on at least paying his call out fee. Highly recommended! :)

• Hot rads, no hot water

  Had an early morning text in reply to my Checkatrade ad. I was impressed that somebody was up early and keen to work. Phoned and spoke to Stuart who explained what my problem was. We agreed that he would call round. He arrived early, went off to get a spare part , came back in a short time and fitted it , job done. Hot water and heat! Best service ever. Stuart, pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Thank you.

• Boiler service and radiator fix

  Was recommended with the caveat that he is messy. He was very tidy. He was meant to come in December; after hearing nothing for a month we chased and he eventually came. No apology or explanation. The radiator valves were fixed but since him coming, the boiler has needed resetting twice as there has been no hot water and one of the radiators wasn’t working at all. We called to ask when he was going to repair it and he called back a couple of days later. We missed the call but called back immediately and he didn’t answer. We have just received an invoice implying he has no plans to sort.

• Boiler fix (very old boiler!)

  Replaced pressure release valve on an old boiler. Was informative and knew a lot about the system despite the system being very rare nowadays. Further complications arose during the service which weren’t Stuart’s fault. He endeavoured to fix them and could tell he cared about what he was doing.
