  • Misleading Service of Boiler, Unvented Cylinder and Flueless Gas Fire

    2Verified Review

    Booked annual service 3 appliances (boiler, unvented cylinder and gas fire) price quoted £120. Cylinder service omitted from job advice e mail. Queried by phone and confirmed by e mail it was included. Trader then adamant cylinder did not require service and damage may be caused. Manufacturers clear annual service is essential. Paid trader £120 on the day. Trader advised: I did not want the cylinder serviced; the quote was for the boiler and fire only; and I had not paid the invoice. All untrue! Cannot trust trader, made own rules contrary to his accreditation (HICEIC). Never allow him back.

    Sorry to have taken so long to submit this review - must have got distracted. A great service as usual from Alistair. He is always very helpful and provides useful advice to those of us who are unsure how things work. He keeps in contact regarding appointment times and completes the work on schedule. He is always willing to talk through any questions that may arise.
