  I highly recommend Pete’s services, sanding and all types of wood flooring, check his website. Pete is very experienced, knowledgeable and totally reliable. Nothing is too much trouble, he was at the end of a ‘phone advising us as we chose flooring, so much to understand, we couldn’t have done it without Pete. The finished floor looks amazing, we are delighted with his work. We consulting a number of flooring shops to supply and fit, the quotes were ridiculous! Pete laid the floor at a fraction of the prices quoted so very good value for money. Pete is kind supportive and respectful .

• Creaky floorboards

  We contacted Pete as we had a real problem with creaky floorboards throughout the house. He came to look at the situation and explained that he could investigate the cause but until the carpets were lifted, he would not be able to see what was needed. We had confidence in him and agreed to proceed. He found that all the existing floorboards were very loose and he then spent 3 days nailing them down, ensuring that any pipes and electric cables would not be damaged. He not only improved the situation but completely eliminated the problem. Totally professional and a model for his trade.

• Floor sanding and treating

  Pete sanded two dirty old floor for us. He scraped alway all the old carpet residue and glue, the sanded and treated the boards to leave them looking like new. It was about a quarter of the price of having a new floor, with about ten times the character and charm. Pete was also a joy to have in the house. Could not recommend more higly.

• Parquet floor restoration

  Pete restored the parquet floor in our hall and living room. We were keen to restore the original floor that had been hidden under carpet for decades. There had also been some movement of the floor level in the lounge. We weren't sure if it was possible to achieve a good result, but Pete has achieved an excellent result. I would highly recommend his services.

• New Wood flooring

  Pete did an excellent job of laying new oak flooring in 4 rooms of my house. He was extremely nice, worked very hard and I am so pleased with the results, it has completely transformed my house. It wasn’t an easy job and did cost a bit more but I was happy with this as there were some unexpected difficult issues which he totally resolved.
