  We have used Homefix for a number of years, and during the past few months the company has carried out several pieces of work on our property. The standard of workmanship is consistently very high, and the people who carry out the work are always helpful, professional and courteous. The house is always left in a clean and tidy condition after the work is finished. Contacting Homefix by e-mail or telephone is always very straightforward, and they always respond quickly, and give clear timescales and estimates for the work requested.

  This was the most recent job that Homefix have organised for me. I started using them in 2016 after I bought a property in Leatherhead, on the basis of a recommendation from a friend. I have used them for a range of services - plumbing, decorating, replacement appliances and most recently flooring. Always punctual, excellent quality of workmanship and very easy to deal with.

  The work was done very quickly, the workman stayed on the job for three and a half days until it was finished. The ceiling looks good. The workman made sure everything was tidy, he worked hard and was very pleasant.

  Lovely to see Ray again, who completed several jobs for us - a new cartridge for a kitchen tap, a new catch for the loft opening, a new pull switch for the bathroom light, and a repair to a door lock. All completed so quickly, and with so much extra useful advice and the benefit of his years of expertise and experience. These are just the jobs we could not tackle ourselves and it is so good to have one trustworthy company to turn to. Mike and Nicky are the best! Looking forward to welcoming Ray back again next week for a new pop up waste plug and fitting an outside retractable garden hose.

• Property refurbishment (internal and external)

  It was a pleasure to work with Mike and Nicky on this project to refurbish our Minister's property. Externally they cleared the overgrown driveway, replaced fencing and installed lighting. Internally, we had glazing repairs, a new sub floor and kitchen/diner installation that has transformed the property, new cloakroom, lighting upgraded where not compliant, ventilation installed in unused chimneys to solve damp ingress and general redecoration and carpeting throughout. They were a pleasure to deal with, responsive and timely with a great contractor team across all trades. Thank you!
