  Ian painted our lounge (ceiling, walls and woodwork). He is considerate and hardworking, and communicated well with us throughout. He is very experienced, works to a high standard, and always left the place tidy. We are so pleased with the end result and would definitely ask him to work for us again.

  We felt so fortunate to have found Ian to carry out our external painting job. He worked with such care and attention and the finish is so beautiful. He was punctual and courteous and quite often we didn’t even realise he had arrived to start working. Both of our neighbours have asked for his details because they were so impressed with his workmanship. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Ian again and we both look forward to using him again sometime soon.

  Ian was punctual, tidy, courteous and detail oriented, particularly colour matching an existing stain on my job. Ian took the time to point out ageing woodwork to watch, and of his own initiative further secured the finial which was loose and cleaned my gutters as a courtesy. Ian comes from a generation of trade professionals that still take pride in their work. Ten out of ten all round and an agreeable pricing point. I will definitively use his services again both for exterior and interior work. I suspect he is also an extremely well accomplished high-end internal decorator.

  I found Ian on checkatrade while looking for a local decorator. I reached out to Ian based on his reviews on this site and im so glad I did. He responded within a few hours and came round the following day to give a quote. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I gave him the work based on such good first impressions. He turned up exactly when he said he would each day. He was neat and tidy - always cleaned up and never left any mess. He even hoovered! He consulted me throughout and we are so happy with the results. We will definitely be booking him in for our upstairs project.
